Our Specialties

Your Trusted Podiatry Clinic on Sydney's North Shore

At HealthiClinic, we provide comprehensive podiatry services for children, adults, athletes, and older Australians. Our podiatrists assess a wide range of foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions using an evidence-informed, patient-centred approach.

General Podiatry

Assessment and treatment for everyday foot concerns including corns, calluses, skin and nail conditions, diabetic foot care, and routine foot health. We provide practical care that supports comfort, mobility, and long-term foot health.

Heel Pain Assessment

Heel pain is one of the most common reasons people seek podiatry care, but it is not always caused by the same condition. Our assessment considers the plantar fascia, heel fat pad, Achilles tendon, nerves, biomechanics, and other possible contributors before developing an individual treatment plan.

Children's Podiatry

Children's feet change as they grow. Many variations are a normal part of development, while others may benefit from assessment when associated with pain, difficulty walking, sports injuries, or concerns about foot posture. Our consultations focus on understanding the child as a whole and recommending treatment only where clinically appropriate.

Sports Related Injury

Whether you're a recreational walker, weekend runner, or competitive athlete, foot and ankle injuries can affect performance and recovery. We assess sports-related injuries, overuse conditions, tendon problems, stress injuries, and running mechanics to help you safely return to activity.

Orthotics & Biomechanical

Orthotics are not appropriate for everyone. Our assessment considers walking pattern, footwear, lower limb function, and biomechanics before determining whether orthotic therapy is likely to be beneficial. Where indicated, recommendations may include footwear advice, rehabilitation, strengthening, or custom orthotic management.

Ingrown Toenail Treatment

Ingrown toenails may become painful, swollen, or infected. Treatment depends on the severity of the condition and may include conservative care, nail management, or minor procedures performed under local anaesthetic where clinically appropriate.

Our Assessment Process

Every assessment is tailored to the individual. Similar symptoms can have different causes, which is why an accurate diagnosis is an important first step.

Listen

We begin by understanding your symptoms, medical history, activity levels, footwear, and previous treatment.

Assess

A comprehensive assessment may include examination of your feet, ankle movement, walking pattern, strength, flexibility, and biomechanics.

Where clinically appropriate, imaging or referral for additional investigations may be recommended.

Develop Plan

Your management plan is based on the diagnosis, severity of symptoms, activity requirements, and personal goals.

Recovery

Recovery often involves ongoing review and adjustment of treatment.

Our goal is to improve function, reduce discomfort where possible, and help you return to everyday activities safely.

A referral is generally not required for private podiatry appointments. Some funding arrangements or care plans may have specific referral requirements.

Your podiatrist will discuss your symptoms, examine your feet and lower limbs, assess your walking pattern where appropriate, and explain the findings along with suitable management options.

Yes. Children of all ages can be assessed for foot pain, walking concerns, sports injuries, flat feet, heel pain, and other lower limb conditions.

No. Orthotic therapy is recommended only when there is a clear clinical indication. Many conditions respond well to footwear advice, rehabilitation, exercise, or other conservative management.

Yes. Heel pain is one of the most common conditions assessed by podiatrists. Because several different structures can cause heel pain, assessment focuses on identifying the most likely source before recommending treatment.

You should consider an assessment if foot or ankle pain is affecting your daily activities, sport, work, or quality of life, or if symptoms have not improved with self-care.

A podiatrist is a healthcare professional who assesses, diagnoses, and manages conditions affecting the feet, ankles, and lower limbs. At HealthiClinic, we assess a wide range of concerns including heel pain, sports injuries, ingrown toenails, foot pain, plantar fasciitis, children’s foot conditions, diabetic foot care, and walking or biomechanical issues. Treatment recommendations are tailored to your individual condition, symptoms, and lifestyle.

You should consider seeing a podiatrist if you experience persistent foot or heel pain, ankle discomfort, difficulty walking, recurring sports injuries, ingrown toenails, or changes in your foot health that affect your daily activities. Early assessment may help identify the underlying cause and guide appropriate management before symptoms worsen.

Yes. Heel pain is one of the most common conditions assessed by podiatrists. While plantar fasciitis is a well-known cause, heel pain can also result from Achilles tendon problems, heel fat pad syndrome, nerve irritation, stress injuries, or other conditions. A comprehensive assessment helps determine the likely cause so that an appropriate treatment plan can be developed.

Children may benefit from a podiatry assessment if they have persistent foot or heel pain, frequent tripping, recurrent ankle sprains, difficulty participating in sport, painful flat feet, or concerns about the way they walk or run. Many differences in children’s foot development are normal, and an assessment can help determine whether reassurance, monitoring, or treatment is appropriate.

No. Orthotics are not recommended for every patient. Following a comprehensive assessment, they may be considered when there is a clear clinical indication, such as persistent pain, biomechanical abnormalities, or specific functional goals. In many cases, footwear advice, exercise, rehabilitation, or activity modification may be appropriate alternatives or complementary treatments.

Your appointment begins with a discussion about your symptoms, medical history, activity level, footwear, and any previous treatments. This is followed by a clinical examination, which may include assessing your foot and ankle movement, walking pattern, strength, flexibility, and biomechanics. Based on the findings, your podiatrist will explain the diagnosis and recommend appropriate management options tailored to your needs.

HealthiClinic provides comprehensive podiatry care for patients of all ages, with a focus on personalised assessment and evidence-informed treatment. Our team assesses a wide range of foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions, working collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals when appropriate. Conveniently located on Sydney’s North Shore, we are committed to helping patients improve mobility, manage pain, and maintain long-term foot health through practical, individualised care.
